need a bit of explanation on Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors

    I'm assuming it has to do with a square matrix. If so you get the eigenvalue/eigenvector by solving the equation Ax=(lamnda)x. A is a square n by n matrix, x is a n by 1 vector and lamnda is a scalar.
