find the roots y=x^2-7x+6 how to solve it

    You need to find two numbers whose product is +6 and sum is -7. -6 and -1 seem to work. (x-6)(x-1) is the answer. You can verify by using FOIL to distribute it out. If you need a more thorough explanation, feel free to ask.
