Can anyone explain the point of a wronskian determinant, and why it is found when doing systems?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0determines whether the set of solutions to the DE are independent. If the determinant of the wronskian is =0 then they are independent (not vice versa). if they are we can form a basis with which to build all other solutions to the DE.
