Two dice are rolled. Find the probability of getting a sum of 5,6, or 7

    So here are the dice combinations that make a 5 (parenthesis mean separate rolls): (1,4) (2,3) (3,2) (4,1) <--- That give 4 possible rolls right there. Next determine the same for a sum of 6 and a sum of 7. Finally determine how many possible combinations two die can make. Divide the sum of the former by the later.

    I got 36 possible rolls total. You have 4 possible rolls for a sum of 5, at to that number the number of different ways 2 die can add up to 6 and again with adding up to 7. Put that result over 36 and you'll have your answer.
