I dont understand the following problem. Saniti traveled 7/12 of the distance to her cousins house before taking a break. Which fraction represents the remainder of her trip? If her total trip is 240 miles, how far does she still need to travel?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0well....we know that 12/12 is equal to 240 mi...so 1/12 is equal to 240/12 or 20 miles. So if she has finished 7/12 of it (or 140/240 miles), then she has 5/12 or 100 miles left to go
