Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0first make x at left had side x+4x= 16 5x = 16 x = 16/5 then 3x+4y =8 4y =8 3x y = 1/4(8 3x) insert x y = 1/4(8 3(16/5)) y =2/5

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0x=164y as first equation, 3x+4y=8 change to 3x=84y then to x=1/3(84y) and take as second equation first equation = second equation as x = x 164y =1/3(84y) 3(164y)= 84y 4812y = 8 4y 488 = 12y 4y 40 = 8y 5 = y then insert y=5 into x=164y x =164(5) x= 4 then x=4 and y=5
