I'll throw this out there. I've been using a good Perl ebook that is available as a free Pdf - "Invent Your Own Computer Games with Python" by Albert Sweigart. I like it because it is a lot of fun. I think that it is a good addition to the MIT course...the more fun practice programs the better.

    That's cool, and it uses python 3! I know there've been a few people around who wanted to start with 3 instead of 2.7. Thanks!
