I have wondered this also. I think 0 and 1 correlate to lecture 1. Then the rest correlate before that. 0 maybe a primer for the course as a whole though.

The calendar page shows when assignments are due and when they have been released. The readings page also correlates the reading assignments to the lectures. The profs suggested to do the readings after the lectures, so I guess that's another option. It's weird, but I suppose it adds perspective, in a sense.
