Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0ok well firstly i'm gonna divide by 4 so there's no coefficient of x^2, this gives, x^2x+1/4 (you can see that this would equal (x1/2)^2 (i can see an answer from here but i'd like to show you the complete the square method as it is used a lot later on) Right, if you have a quadratic of the form x^2+bx+c, you can write it as; (x+b/2)^2((b/2)^2)+c, so in your case; (x1/2)^2(1/2)^2+1/4 (1/2)^2 = 1/4 (x1/2)^2+1/41/4 (x1/2)^2 is your factorised equation
