can someone tell me how to do a hypothesis on a apple using if.....and then.....

    ok so in order to do a hypothesis...you need to know what you are testing or trying to find with this apple

    "If _____[I do this] _____, then _____[this]_____ will happen, because of this_____.. Just filling the blanks with something like If an apple is dropped from a height of 20 feet, then it will not bounce, because ....? Get the gist?
