2x - 8 greater than or equal to 10 OR 2x - 8 less than or equal to -10 (You must write and solve both inequalities when you have an absolute value inequality, and when you flip the sign in the second inequality, you must change the sign of the other side) From here, 2x greater than or equal to 18 OR 2x less than or equal to -2 x greater than or equal to 9 OR x less than or equal to -1
