A group of conservation officers studying the population of polar bears in northern Alaska captured and tagged 15 bears along a 200 mile stretch of the coast of northern Alaska. Three months later they captured another 15 bears in the same area and found that 9 of the bears were tagged. Using this data, estimate the total polar bear population in that area of Alaska.
