a rectangular sheet of aluminum is 50 cm long and 20 cm wide and weighs 5.4 grams. find the thickness of the aluminum foil

    You can use the mass that we calculated before. You know how many cubic centimeters it has to be then, so you can calculate the volume that it would have to take up to weight that much. Once you have that volume, you can calculate the thickness because length times width times thickness is the volume.
