Just out of curiosity are you avoiding doing homework by yourself. You should try to challenge yourself. Not that its any of my business. Anyways if a number is rational it has a finite number of digits, so it terminates. If it is irrational it has a continuous infinite amount of digits. An easy way to tell is to look at the question and ask yourself, when i solve this will the answer be finite or infinite? For\[\sqrt{1.21}\] just because there is a decimal does not mean it is irrational if 1.1 is squared we will get 1.21. Hope this helps lol.
