Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0ok, then in total she works for 45 hours. For the first 40 hours she is paid 8.50 per hour. This means she earns 40(8.50) or $340 for the first 40 hours. The last 5 hours she earns "time and a half." This means that she gets paid for 5 hours plus 5(1/2) or 7.5 hours at the rate of 8.50. So for those hours she earns 7.5(8.50) or a total of $63.75. Adding the two totals together she makes 340 + 63.75 or a grand total of $403.75.
