Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0On the keyboard its shift and then above the enter key. If you add the 8 to both sides you get: 16x<7 This means 16x<7 and 16x>7 Solving for x results in: 6x<6 and 6x>8 x>1 and x<4/3 or in interval notation: (1, 4/3)

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0If you subtract 3 from all the terms you get: 15<5x<1 Then divide by 5 3>x>1/5 or looking the other way 1/5<x<3 which is (1/5, 3) Remember: if you divide or multiply by a negative number you have to change the direction of the less than and greater than signs.
