A rock is tossed into a pond creating an expanding circular ripple. If the radius of the ripple is increasing at a rate of 1.5 ft/sec, find out how fast the area is increasing when the radius is 2 feet.

    A=Pi r^2 Calculate the total differential of the above. Plug in the values for dr and r. If you use 1+1/2 for 1.5 then dA=6 Pi
