Does anyone know what the x-intercepts of y+x^2(-)2x-24 are?

    it's asking you solve for y when x=0

    but there really should be an equals sign somewhere to have a valid equation

    Looks like the equation is not correct. Should be y +ax + b = 0 as superduper says. Maybe you typed in the x term incorrectly?
