I have 200 dollars to split between 3 teams. Second place gets twice as much as third place and first gets 15 dollars more than second place. Can someone please help me with the formula?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0the formula: x+2x+(2x+15)=200 [where x is the amount 3rd place get] 5x+15=200 x=37 therefore, 2nd place wil get, 2x=2*37=74 and 1st place gets 2x+15=74+15=89
