    Slope is the change in height divided by the change is width. How far you have to move up when you move so many units out.. Slope is usually refered to as "m" in an equation. AND the slope of a angle is the same as the tangent of that angle.

    y2 - y1 ------ = slope x2 - x1 where (x1, y1) is the first point, and (x2, y2) is the second point on the graph
