solve the equation. x^2 + 4x - 60 = 0

    in order to factor, you need to find which two numbers have the product of -60 and sum of 6. since the product is negative, you will have a positive and negative number in your factors. Start by: 1*60 2*30 3*20 4*15 5*12 6*10 which of these has a difference of 4? And remember that one of them needs to be negative
