and the chat had some strange behaviour too. I read a message, replied and wondered why there did not come a reply back. Then I noticed a stack of external javascript in noscript — what the hell are you including there? When I allowed those scripts, the chat contained completely different messages all of a sudden, except for my recent replies...

every time I enter that Mathematics StudyPad, the same old notification is shown as new

also I miss that tag-system, in the old version I at least had the feeling I could control what I see, but now it's all just a big jungle. I mean I don't want to go through all the studypads, that I'm interested in manually.

omg, typing an answer to a thread thats longer than the window is a pain. especially when using math formula. The input field just jumps out of view again and again. even without it jumps and the input is hidden by that 'Group Chat' button... :-(, not talking about the 'Equation', 'Attach File' and 'Post'-Buttons.

Thanks nowhereman. I'm forwarding all of these issues to the QA and dev members - we do take stability seriously and the site has been performing on our computers. Would you mind letting us know what operating system you're on? Also - would you min suggesting the tagging feature (via feedback tab)? How would you see it working within the mathematics group for example?

OpenStudy does rely a lot on JavaScript -- it's how the interface stays live and responsive. As for external scripts, we rely on a few of them to let us know about use/bugs as they happen. The issues with the positioning of the text field you're typing into when replying is something I'm looking into in the next day or two, while the fix for the notifications not clearing will be up in the next couple of hours. We'll have a look at the user info popup issues you mentioned. Thanks!

Positioning of the text field should now be taken care of. We'll be looking at the user info popup issues soon.
