the pep club is going to sell bouquets of flowers during the homecoming game. they represent their revenue R and costs C with the following equations. R = 5.50x C=250+1.25x x is the number of bouquets what is the constant rate of cahnge for each relationship? What information does it represent in this context?

    The constant rate of change in each relationship is the change in R or C versus a change in x. Then\[\frac{\Delta{R}}{\Delta{x}}=5.50\]and\[\frac{\Delta{C}}{\Delta{x}}=1.25\]If the change in bouquets is one unit, \[\Delta x=1\]and you have \[\Delta R = 5.50, \Delta C=1.25\]that is, for a positive unit change in bouquets sold, you have a 5.5 unit increase in revenue, and a 1.25 increase in cost.
