In this new form of open study, will the study pads be disabled? I understand that one can still view the old form, but a link from the home page. But will that remain there forever

Development on that version of OpenStudy is pretty much complete. However - the older version of OpenStudy will be available for some time yet (the one with studypads). We'll give everyone at least a month's heads up if we plan to stop supporting the older site entirely.

In the older version, we could invite users to a study pad. This made things simpler, as we could be sure, to have received a reply, from the person whom we trust is knowledgeable. Further more we could follow a certain question, which we have neither contributed or started. Are this features available in the new version.

Hi Linda - great point. No, we don't have that capability yet, but those are good suggestions. Mind codifying them by using the feedback tab on the left side so others can vote up?
