area of retangle is x squared+7x+10 . find one possibltiy for width and length. the answer i found is (x+5)(x+2) but it says it is not right

    x^2 + 7x + 10 is the area? So factor to get the width/length: (x + 5) (x+2) Hmm... You can plug in anything, really.

    wouldn't the equation be: LxW = x^2 +7x + 10 in this case?

    the smallest area available is "0" So when x = -5 or x=-3 we get an area of "0" as far as I can tell..

    i looked and it confused me more. the answer is 2 and 5. but then it put it itno a box to factor area
