The height in feet of a baseball after it is hit can be modeled by the function f(x)= -16x^2+ 100x , where x is the time in secounds after the ball hit. Find the balls maximum height and the the time it takes the ball to reach this height. Then find how long the ball is in the air.

    The maximum height of the ball is reached when the ball's velocity becomes zero. From the equation you're given, do you know how to find the ball's velocity as a function of \(x\)?
