Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Trig is ALOT of memorizing; and after you learn it, it is useless cause they got calculators to tell you what the values are. All trig class does it lets you know HOW these things were creatd and maybe some useful tidbits with identities for later in calculus...

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0OK factor out a cosx so you have cosx(sin^2x + cos^2x) The most important trig identity is sin^2x + cos^2x = 1 so you substitue 1 for sin^2 + cos^2x and you get cos x(1) = cosx

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Trig identities use alot of algebraic techniques to find solutions. And if you are weak in algebra.... then it will be tough. sorry....
