I typed in to google "why cant i upload a picture to my profile", and i quickly found, "try reducing its size to 64x64" LOL
LOL!
you indeed are Dr.Goo
nope, doesnt help
Maybe the "choose picture" page did not load as it should, try reloading it, I had some problems with uploading a picture too, but after a while I got one up :) First my computer stopped the action, saying ... has stopped a web service to get access to content on your computer. So I had to allow it. The next time, the page didn't load as it should, and I got a little exclamation mark in a yellow triangle in the lower left corner of my browser window, saying something like "Completed" & "Error in the page". But after awhile I got a picture onto my user, and it is ther still :P
If you want to have a picture which is the correct size already, take a Google Images Search on a topic, select Icon in size and you will only get pictures with a size fit for being profile pictures, then download a picture you like to your computer, and try to upload it as your profile picture. (These pictures normally have a small file size and can more easily be used)
