i vneed help finding the y intercept of this equation. 5x-8y=120

    the y intercept is where the graph intersects the y axis

    so at the y-axis you know the x point is 0. so plug in 0 for x and solve for y. That will give you the y-intercept

    so you should have 5(0)-8y=120

    then 5 times 0 is zero so you get -8y=120.

    then divide both sides by -8..and you will get your y-intercept
