    you may want to check out mit opencourseware. They have a course called intro to algorithms.

    go to free-ed.net and then click on courses, scroll down to the bottom where you will see schools of study. click on the computer & tech school and then computer programming. There will be a course there. It will link you back to MIT where you can begin the course.

    for practicing you may find topcoder.com useful. they have very good algortihm tutorials too. visit topcoder.com/tc go to the tutorial section.
