http://i56.tinypic.com/2eureiv.png find the volume of the solid by determing how many unit cubes are contained in the solid . Please help me how to do it

    7*2*1+3*2*1=14+6=20 unit cubes

    Hi, the given block in the diagram can be devided into two cuboids of dimensions 7x2x1 and 3x2x1. so total volume is sum of the volumes. :)
