Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0I think it's some random person with moderate intelligence making basic, patronising videos aimed at people who are mentally retarded. He also has terrible handwriting. Next?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0If the future of education is some 'jack of all trades' (master of none) teaching random people about it, then we are truly lost.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0I Newton, you sound like a brutal barbarian who is unhappy in life and is expressing his unhapyness to everyone. If you are having personal problems, please, do not act bad and angry on everyone. Find a psychiatrist or a good friend, better jet, a girlfriend

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0oh, and do you call a guy who got 2 million google award and a microsoft education award and a personal recomendation by Bill Gates "a random person with moderate intelligence"?? Who are you??? what have you achieved? a doctorate degree? who cares about it.. I am asking you, WHAT have you done to benefit the WORLD???? Mr. Khan has helped milions, including me. So shout up you angry mouth, moron.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0He went to some random University and got about 5 undergraduate degrees. I study Mathematics at Cambridge, the best subject at the best University in the world. You can;t do Maths but you spend your life trying to get fans on some random online thing. I am bored in the holiday trying to help people, if you don't want my help you can flutter off. Some people may find his childish methods good, but I find him a patronising owletgot. the end.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0You have a point? Who are you? Some nobody who is going nowhere. Now grow up.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0I'm with BecomeMyFan on this one. The guy has helped me with several different diff eq topics and this idea of flipping the classroom is fantastic. when this site grows to multiple experts in various fields i could totally see gate's foreshadowing become the truth

anonymous

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0I think that says more about you than the site.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0hey, use your logic, INewton, I am just saying that I have a point because he really DID help THOUSAND UPON THOUSANDS

anonymous

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0I know I am still young and inexperianced like you are, but that guy tought me maths in a more fun and easy way than my techers. He might not be able to solve maths of very advanced topics like you do, but atleast he has to right heart and skills to share the knowledge and hence teach millions of kids and students around the world. Many of people who learn from his videos are in some hard situations and do not have finances to get expensive education. Think about it.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0If you want to learn stuff at a snails pace, be my guest. I PERSONALLY detest the site because I could pick up a book and learn it all in about a thousandth of the time. I realise not everyone could. The end.

anonymous

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0yes, you have a very smart and powerful brain, but I am millions of others do not. So regardless of the fact that this man helps multitudes to learn maths and other subjects, you say these things about him just because YOU dont find it usefull? Isn't that selfish?

anonymous
Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0I can only form opinions based on my perception of it. And yes, I am selfish, everyone is. The is how humans evolve selfish genes. Now grow up.

anonymous

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0You are smart, but have no heart.

anonymous
Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0If I had no heart why would I bother helping people on this site? It's certainly not to do the Maths, because if it was I'd do fun Maths that is actually a challenge.

anonymous

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0you have a point, a good one indeed, but then I cant understand how you think like that about that guy and site. I think just because it helps so many people, it should be respected.

anonymous
Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0the entire point of the site is to allow for people to learn at different paces because people DO learn at different paces, exactly your point. The fact that you learn more quickly would allow for you to skip ahead over the aspects of his teachings that you do not need. this is also, like he has mentioned, a supplement to teaching and not a teaching tool to be used alone. some students, myself and you apparently, tend to pick up on many topics very quickly. we dont usually need further explanation in a different way but every so often there are some topics that just dont quite click and hearing them in a different way than your professor or text book is helpful. I really dont understand why you are so harsh and spiteful towards another option for millions to learn from. just because you dont feel like you need it to learn math doesn't mean your an expret at everything and it wouldn't be helpful to learn some other topic a bit slower. you are the one who needs to grow up.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0I agree. But next time, don't compare me to you, unless you can actually do more than 0 questions on STEP Mathematics II/III papers.

anonymous

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Guess what buddy, you aren't the only one who's going to college at a reputable university. Nor are you the only one majoring in a math heavy major. Next time, don't make assumptions about people you do not know.

anonymous

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0I don't major, because I am not american. Cambridge is better than any US university, but, humour me which do you go to?

anonymous

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0dont boast about your STEP III, I cant do it as I have mathematics is not my passion. I could also say "..unless you can code in assembly and have written at least 3 networking tools for the linux kernel..."

anonymous

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0If I wanted to test whether Mathematics was your passion I would have asked you to do some International Mathematical Olympiad problems .. :/

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Kids like you would die if you set eyes on a STEP III paper (which is needed BEFORE entry to Cambridge). american's get it so easy with their 'majors' .. just study one subject you indecisive.......

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0lol, someone is a bit high and mighty. there you go making assumptions again. i was previously majoring in manufacturing engineering with a minor in mechanical engineering, switched majors to computer engineering (which encompasses networking, programming, micro computers, electronics and circuit analysis, as well as several other aspects. plus i have a concentration in psychology. so again, how about you go educate yourself a bit on my educational system before you make false assumptions

anonymous

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0just dont think that you are superior Inewton, try writting a port manager in assembly for embedded unix system and see how you do..

anonymous

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Wow, your vocational education system sounds fun. I prefer learning real stuff, though

anonymous

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0yeah or how about very simple circuit analysis, after you do that you can learn about zenier diodes with transformers on a varying frequency AC voltage sweep. oh if forgot, you know everything so i bet that would be a breeze next to your STEP paper

anonymous

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0STEP is considered the hardest public exam in the world. But OK.

anonymous

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0arduino, good stuff. i suggest you take a look at the TI msp430 you can get one shipped with 2 chips and a clock for like 5 dollars. its a bit more complicated than the arduino but its not too bad to pick up. and its the lowest power consuming microprocessor out right now

anonymous

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0nice, I will surely check it out, I was also thinking of buiding my own some time, but I am quite new to electronics world so for this moment arduino is enough :) i am more of a code guy :) but would love to learn more about electronics, I am actually thinking of going to university again to take electronics
