Find out how much a meter is in terms of centimeters (cm). you have 3 meters of ribbon totally. You cut out three ribbons, each 85 cm. so the total length of the three ribbons is 3 times 85 cm. so the leftover ribbon length is (3meters) - (3 times 85 cm)
