I've gotten most problems right but I can't figure this out. one three consecutive passes, a football team gains 8 yards, loses 38 yards, and gains 23 yards. what number represents the total net yardage?

    gains 8 yards, so +8 loses 38 yards so +8 - 38 gains 23 yards so +8 - 38 + 23
