Show that f is continuous at a, if f(x), with a = 4. $f(x) = \sqrt{2x -5} + 3x$

calc the limit as a=x=4 coming from -infinity, and + infinity, they both are f(4)= root of 3 + 12. It is the fact that they both equal the same thing from both sides andthat the limit exists there that makes it continuous. I'm taking this as they are asking you to evaluate f(x) as f(a), and a= 4.
