you can take any scales for x and y axis. It depends on how much information you want to show in a limited amount of area, which is often the case with most graph sheets.

won't it would affect ma slope???

  • anonymous
no it won't. it will LOOK different to you, but the slope will remain the same.

for example, suppose you use a magnifying glass to read some small text in your textbook, does that mean the text itself has changed, or the way you look at the text has changed?
anonymous
  • anonymous
when you use a magnifying glass, you are changing the scale so that it is easy for you to read. same with graphs, you change the scale to make it easy for you to see what information is presented in the graphs.

Just broaden your range of thinking. A problem can be approached in many different ways. You must always keep your mind open to different approaches, otherwise you will get bogged down. apart from that, you might wanna invest in IIT tuitions.
