    3 3/4 becomes 3(4)+3//4 = 15/4 u = 15 -1//4 = 14/4 = 7/2 = 3 1/2

    then "they" are wrong :) what format they want it in? 3.5 7/2 3 1/2 we can try imaginary numbers too ;)
