Does anyone know a database that measures multinationality of a firm? Meaning if a company operates only domestically or also in other foreign countries?

    No, but I guess the best u can do is to look in the Company webpage, if they have one, if not there is a big chance they operate only in the place you already know... which company are you looking for?

    thanks but i need a database for my thesis. i can't do it manually cause i need information on thousands of companies from over 50 countries over various years :S does anyone know how to show this on compustat? i couldnt find it yet!

    Cap IQ has the breakdown of revenues geographically for individual companies...
