You can solve this by multiplying both sides by x and then adding x and subtracting 1 to get x^2+x-1=0 which you can solve by plugging it into your calculator or using the quadratic formula

    sure \[(1-x)/x =x\] \[x * (1-x)/x = x * x \] \[1-x = x^2\] \[1-x - 1 + x= x^2 +x -1\] Everything cancels out to get \[x^2+x-1=0\] Hope this helps!

That's a perfectly fine question to ask. I just subtracted 1 and added x to both sides of the equation.
