What number must be added to the polynomial to complete the square? If necessary, use the slash mark ( / ) as a fraction bar and leave your answer in the form of an improper fraction.

\[x ^{2}-7x+(-7/2)^{2}=0+(-7/2)^{2}\] \[x ^{2}-7x+49/4=49/4\] \[(x-7/2)^{2}\] The number to be added is as you can see is 49/4. The last line is to show what the root would look like.
