    y=-3x 2y=-6x sub into 1st equation 6x-6x=8 0=8 so no root

    you have 2y=-6x sub in the first equation where 6x+2y=8 so 6x+(-6x)=8 6x-6x=8 0x=8 we know that 0x always = 0 whatever x is so 0x=8 is not logical then no root for this one
