    depends on the context - my guess if it is an older text would be referring to celestial things - sun, moon, stars, possibly religious entities - rather than a modern interpretation (a hot person)

    It means planets and stars and stuff. Bodies ~ lumps of stuff ~ that are in the heavens ~ space.

    A natural celestial object, visible in the sky, such as a star, planet, natural satellite, asteroid, comet, the Moon or the Sun are considered as heavenly body. Objects flying or moving in the atmosphere are not usually considered as heavenly bodies.
