sierra buys 2 jars of honey at the farmer's market. she gets a discount of $1 for buying two jars at the same time. write an algebraic expression to describe how much sierra spends for honey at the farmer's market.

    y=2x -1, where x is no. of jars bought and y is the total money spent, i guess

    if u talking about 'n' jars bought then it could be y= n(2x-1)
