An arch over a doorway is 2feet high and 7feer wide.Find the radius of circle containing the arch.

    I would assume if it is 7 feet side then the radius is 3.5 ft.

    to find the radius, use this pythagoras theorem: \[(r-2)^2+3.5^2=r^2\] the arc is the part of a bigger circle.
