    in 4 trips he carried 12 bottles but one is still left so he has to make a another trip

    well its given 4 in the book...but am not sure which one is correct either 4 or 5 or 4.5

    he is already at the storer from my reading of the problem. so he carries 3 back. then he needs to make 4 trips TO the store to get the remaining

    the problem only asks how many trips TO the store, not TO and FROM the store
