what is the distance between a point and its image after the translation (x,y) --> (x+7, y-5) ?

    heres a look at how the point has moved (x,y) - - - - - - - - - - - -(x+7,y-5) if i connect the two points it makes a right triangle use Pythagorean theorem to solve for missing side a^2 + b^2 = c^2 a=7 b=5
