How can I understand rational and irrational numbers

    rational numbers behave themselves nicely; they stay still when you look at them; irrationals keep moving around and wont stay put

    Rational number is any number that can be defined as m/n where m and are integers

    does 3 = pi? no look closer; 3.1? no look closer 3.14? no; look closer, 3.141? no, look closer... no matter how close you get, your still a thousand miles away
