the amount of snow on the ground increased by 8 in between 7pm and 10pm.by 10pm there was less than 2ft of snow.how much snow was there by 7pm?

    Since the increase was 8" resulting in something less than 2 ft. I would sat the snow depth at 7 pm was something less than 1 ft 4 inches. Am I missing something here?
