Each of 5-15 is written on a sheet of paper. the eleven sheets of paper are placed in a basket. If 1 of these eleven sheets of paper are selected from a basket , without replacement, find probability that both are less then 10

    Now you assume that you drew out one of the numbers less than 10 and it says you do not replace it... so it is like laying it aside.

    so you have only 4 left that are less than 10 and you have only 10 sheets left to draw from.. 4/10

    You multiply those together. 5 4 -- * -- 11 10 20 -- 110 2 -- 11
