The marginal profit of acertain business is determined to be -x raised to the power of 2 + 14x - 24 where x represents the number of items sold. The sale level is expected to rise from x=6 units to x=8 units. The directors are however considering a plan which woud change the marginal profit to -x raised to the power of 2+12x-20. Shoud the company impement the new plan?

    you want marginal profit to be as close to zero without being negative evaluate each profit function at x=8 and see which one is lower assuming they are both positive
